This Halloween card looks more classy than toxic (with Stampin' Up! Toxic Treats stamp set).
In the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, the sample projects using the gate from the Toxic Treats stamp set are stamped with Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad. They look great. Wrought iron. For my handmade Toxic Treats Halloween card, I tried something different and stamped the gate with Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad to look like aluminum and to cocrdinate with the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper.
A closer view of the handsome stripes and polka dots with lots of Basic Gray in two of the twelve Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper patterns. If you asked me to pick a favorite pattern, I could narrow it down to my top three favorites. Just one would be virtually impossible.
The 3/8" Striped Satin Basic Black/Basic Gray Ribbon, also from the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, is a perfect match. Not just the colors but the style.
A third pattern from the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper is used as an accent behind the stamped gate with crow layer. The Basic Black/Basic Gray paper pulls all the elements for one it-has-its-act-together Halloween card!
