Blooming with Kindness . . .

. . .  is almost the perfect way to describe how my friend touched our lives.   Almost.  Only second to his kindness, I will remember him for his quick wit and humor.  His delivery of some pretty corny jokes would make me laugh.  As the Bible verse reads, "A merry heart does good, like medicine."  Proverbs 17:22 (NewKJV)

Our Dr. Rich was most definitely good medicine.  With his hands he healed many bodies; with his kindness and wit, he healed many souls.  The world was a better place for him.

Can a sympathy card even begin to convey to a loved one how sorry you are for the loss this kind and funny man?  Not at all.  But, the new Stampin' Up! So Sorry stamp set can help with the simple "So Sorry" sentiment.   It says very little while saying it all.

When we make and send a handmade sympathy card, we hope the card conveys the love it is wrapped in and tied with a bow.

Just last week I suggested it is a good idea to have some sympathy cards made and ready to send.  I do have some.  But, this card had to be specially made.  When that is true for you too, you do need to have have appropriate stamps on hand.  As mentioned above, the Stampin' Up! So Sorry is a very good one.  There are many other sentiments for the So Sorry stamp.  Just a couple are "times are tough right now.", "i was thoughtless." and "you've been ill."

There are a couple of others I have and recommend you do too.  For the inside of the card, I chose the saying from the Stampin' Up! Love & Sympathy stamp set.

Another great stamp set for sentiments is the Stampin' Up! Thoughts & Prayers stamp set.   Quite honestly, the stamp set you use to decorate can be one of many.  But, you absolutely need to have appropriate sentiments.  More than one would be ideal as each relationship and recipient is different.
