The new Stampin' Up! Hello, Hello stamp is just one of the many newly released single stamps.  Someone at Stampin' Up! must have thought just a "hello" is not always enough when making a handmade card.  A stamp this pretty is worth a second hello.

Looking at the stamp image online, it was pleasantly surprising to see how large the stamp is.  It is most definitely large enough to fill a card.

The shape of the writing and vines looks rather heart-like.  The Hearts Collection Framelits Dies did not fit it as well as hoped.   It does, though, look well balanced for the Labels Collection Framelits Dies

The hand made card is quite simple with a couple of touches to dress it up.  The first is the paper-piercing.  Don't you like how some well-placed holes give the illusion of another layer?

The well-placed paper-pierced holes were easily made using the Paper-Piercing Tool with the coordinating template from the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack.  Don't forget to protect your table with the Stampin' Pierce Mat underneath the template and paper.

Another fun touch was the pink Flower Soft added to the blooming flowers.   It gave the solid stamped image a bit of texture and interest.   My friend Pat thought I would have a lot of fun with the Flower Soft.

The butterfly is another of those little touches.  The Bitty Butterfly Punch is from the 2013 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog.  Before punching it out, it was stamped first with the butterfly stamp from the Sale-a-bration Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set (free through March 22, 2013 with any $50 Stampin' Up! product purchase!).  I did first try just a punched butterfly.  It was fine, but the stamped version softened it.  It is wonderful to have the option, especially wonderfull when the option was free!

Another subtle touch to this card is the Fancy Fan Folder embossed Pink Pirouette Card Stock layered onto the Pink Pirouette Card Stock card base.  Tone on tone is an easy way to step up a card without adding a contrasting layer that may take away from the desired look.

Hello, Hello, and the other newly released single stamps are only available to purchase for a short time.  March 31, 2013 will be the last day to place an order for Hello, Hello and any others that are speaking to you.

If you are going to purchase Hello, Hello, might as well do it by March 22, 2013 and earn a FREE Sale-a-bration goodie in my online store.  A great choice would be the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set.  It has the pretty butterfly that coordinates with the Bitty Butterfly Punch and other as equally pretty stamps in the set.
