The flowers are one of my favorite techniques, tone-on-tone. Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' Pad ink on Sahara Sand Card Stock. The tone-on-tone technique dresses up a plain background while enhancing the focus of the card instead of detracting from it.
Are you thinking, "Wow, she cut that butterfly out perfectly." It punches out, leaving a small border, with the Bitty Butterfly Punch from the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog. The little bit of white border is something I try to achieve when hand cutting because it gives the perfect amount of contrast. Getting a small, even border all around is not the easiest thing to do.
