The adorable Stampin' Up! Oh, Well stamp set from the 2013 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog will be flapping his tale goodbye as he retires in the great ocean blue on May 31, 2013.
He is a social creature and will be taking a couple of friends with him. Going off to play with him will be the coordinating Sizzix Happy Whale Clearlits Die, Stampin' Up! Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper and Stampin' Up! Oh, Wave Jumbo Wheel.
Look at that, all of the Oh, Whale products retiring are shown right above. Isn't that a handy visual? The Oh, Wave Jumbo Wheel made it easy and quick to provide lots of sea water for him to swim off.
Oh, Whale is spouting off about how much he likes having more whale friends to play with on the whale pattern of the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper. What may not be immediately obvious is he was die-cut with the Happy Whale Clearlits Die. A lot easier than cutting them all out by hand. With the Clearlits Dies (as in this example using the same card template), you stamp, center the die around the image then die-cut. Pretty nifty. Sure is a lot easier than trying to stamp onto card stock that has already been die-cut.
