We continue our countdown of the remaining days to purchase retiring Stampin' Up! stamp sets with a handmade card stamped with the ever-so-lovely Stampin' Up! French Foliage stamp set.
When you see a leaf stamp set, you are most likely inclined to think fall colors. As much as I love the colorful leaves of fall, it sure is nice to know your leaves stamp set is not limited to just that season. Look how becoming this stamp set is in Always Artichoke.
The leaves are framing one of the great greetings from the also retiring Stampin' Up! Pursuit of Happiness stamp set. It was stamped with Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad ink on Ivory Naturals Card Stock. The Ivory Naturals is a little warmer than Very Vanilla with tiny flecks of black. Works great for this handmade card, don't you think?
Underneath the greeting and leaves layer, I tied Always Artichoke 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon tie into a bow. The card was nice until that touch was added, but it did step it up.
The Always Artichoke Seam Binding is also retiring and still available to order as of Tuesday, May 7. Unlike stamp sets that will be available to order through June 3, retiring Stampin' Up! accessories are only available while supplies last.
One last detail to bring to your attention, and that is the embossing. This angle of the card shows it off fairly well. Like in yesterday's 25 Days of Retiring Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets post, it was created with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. That is embossing folder sure gets used a lot. Rather surprised to see it going.
Just like the Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon, the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder is only available in my online store while supplies last!
Here is the list of retiring Stampin' Up! stamps and accessories used to make this card so you can purchase any you need in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com before they are gone for good.
