How fun it is to get a handmade card in the mail. This was especially nice because my Stampin’ Up! upline was congratulating me on a “awesome quarter” with a card she made with the Stampin’ Up! From My Heart stamp set. The name of the stamp set is perfect because I can say from my heart, I love my job!
The secret to having a job you love is to find a way to make a living doing something you love. Becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and owning my own stamping business provided that opportunity.
Card making is my favorite paper crafting project. Many of my customers have share the same feeling that probably you do too. And that is we feel making handmade greeting cards is a double blessing. We get to escape into our world of creativity and enjoy the peace it provides. We then give our handmade cards away to bless the receiver.
How blessed am I that my job is to teach and inspire you? I will not keep you guessing, I am richly blessed. An “awesome quarter” of sales is the financial reward for doing my job well. The reward of being a spark of inspiration for others is what is the reward that makes you want to create and share even more. As a card maker, you understand. You can hardly wait to send another card to the people who tell you how much they loved the last card you sent. Then there is the ultimate compliment of “I save all your cards”. As your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, somehow, somewhere, I had a little bit to do with that.
Inspiring others does not stop with card making for me. A big part of my business is helping other women start their own stamping businesses too by joining Stampin’ Up! as part of my team. Being a part of their success through training, guidance and my enthusiasm is very rewarding.
