As you can see in the picture of the Designer Typeset Stamp Set picture, the photopolymer stamps are completely clear (the black is on the label sheet so you can easily distinguish the image). The stamp sets in the Stampin’ Up! Catalogs are offered in wood mount and clear mount. As of 2013, no totally clear, photopolymer, stamp sets are pictured in any catalogs. Hope this helps clear up any confusion when purchasing stamp sets from any of the current Stampin’ Up! Catalogs.
