die storage 2 “I found a great way to store my Stampin Up thinlets and edgelits & embosslits. I went to walmart and bought a 5X7 photo book. Then I bought the avery printable magnet sheet 8.5×11. I cut the sheets 5 1/2 X 4 1/4. This pkg. made 12 magnet sheets for me. Then I took the dies and placed them on a magnet sheet, wrote the name of the die on that back,  then slipped them down into the 5×7 picture slot in the photo book. If I have extra cut outs I made, I can slip them in the same slot to keep with the dies. Now I have my dies all in one place and this takes up less storage space. I also use this method for my embossing folders. You may have already had something about this. Thought I would share this anyways.”   Pat Rau

Photobook to store Framelits DiesPicture of Framelits Dies stored on magnet sheetsPat is right about having something like this.  A couple of years ago I wrote a newsletter article after Marsha Mendenhall brought an old refrigerator magnet to me for my Framelits.  I placed my Framelits Dies on it and slipped them back into the Framelits envelope.

Stampin' Up! Dress Up Framelits DiesHaving your Framelits not flopping around loosely in the envelope is addictive.  I took my 40% off coupon to Hobby Lobby a few times and purchased magnet sheets.  The only difficulty with that was there was only one decent size sheet in the package.  After Pat shared her storage tip using, I got myself over to Staples and purchased a package of 8-1/2″ x 11 magnet sheets.  Now all my Framelits Dies have a magnet sheet.

No matter if you prefer to take your Framelits out and put them into a photobook or leave them in the envelope they came in, using magnet sheets is a great tip for storing your Framelits, Edgelits and Thinlits Dies.
