People Like You love to make cards!

While it is true, people like you love to make cards is not how the sentiment reads on the new Stampin’ Up! People Like You Stamp Set.  Instead it reads “The world is a better place because of beautiful people like you.”  In my experience, card makers are people who do make the world a better place.

Godby (God-be) With Us Stamper DARLENE HANDY made this pretty handmade card.    She colored the rubber of the single stamp flowers and stems with Wisteria Wonder, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.   She then cleaned the stamp and inked it with Wisteria Wonder Classic Stampin’ Pad ink and stamped on another piece of Whisper White Card Stock. 

Then with the Decorative Label Punch, punched out the greeting.  She used the Paper Snips to hand cut the large purple flower.  The flower was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  You can see the shadow in the photo.  The sentiment was adhered with SNAIL Adhesive.  Even though it was not given an extra lift with Stampin’ Dimensionals, it did add some depth to the card.

Stampin’ Dimensionals are the understated hero again when used to adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White Card Stock stamped with the pretty flower to the 4-1/4″ x 11″ Whisper White card base.   Clean and simple but, oh so, elegant.
