What’s better than a pretty flower stamp set? A pretty flower stamp set with a coordinating punch! That’s exactly what you get with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bunch Stamp Set and Fun Flower Punch. Both were used to make my beautiful Beautiful Bunch card.
The Beautiful Bunch Stamp Set coordinates with a couple of other Stampin’ Up! punches too. You have the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and 1/2″ Circle Punch. They were also used to give more dimension to the punched flower for my handmade card.
Easy to do, really. The flower was first stamped with the retiring Strawberry Slush Classic Stampin’ Pad and punched with the Fun Flower Punch. Then stamped with Strawberry Slush ink again on Whisper White Cardstock. For the second stamping, the entire image was not needed, just the center. The petals lined up quite nicely with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. Added it to the center of the flower with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Even if it had been flat against the flower, it would have given it some dimension. Amazing how much that embellishes a greeting card. Even though it was stamped in the same color.
The flower stamp was then cleaned with Stampin’ Mist on the Stampin’ Scrub and ready to be inked and stamped again. This time with Baked Brown Sugar Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. Again, just the center was all that was needed. The 1/2″ Circle Punch was the perfect size. A Stampin’ Dimensional gave the center a little lift. Very nice.
The background was very easy to do. Stamped the same Beautiful Bunch flower all over a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White Cardstock in Strawberry Slush and Baked Brown Sugar. You can see the flowers are overlapping each other a bit. The idea was to have little white space.
The stripes are Baked Brown Sugar from the Lullably Designer Series Paper. From a name like that, you’d think it would be all cows jumping over the moon and teddy bears. The patterns are varied and not babyish. The soft colors of Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding are great for baby projects but certainly not exclusive to baby projects, as you can see with my Beautiful Bunch card.
