Gold Anniversary Card with Stampin' Up! Remarkable You

Make beautiful handmade cards with the exotic flowers of the Stampin’ Up! Remarkable You Stamp Set! Your greeting cards can be made for virtually any occasion, such as, a gold anniversary like my card pictured.

With a little help from gold Stampin’ Up! accessories, the fine Gold Stampin’ Glitter, 1/8″ Gold Ribbon and Gold Foil Sheets, you’ll have beautiful gold accents for a pretty handmade gold anniversary card.

I tried layering the Blackberry Bliss watercolored calla lilies onto the Gold Foil circle. They seemed to disappear. The next thought was one of the delicate Tea Lace Doilies. Very nice against the white. What really made it all pop was the Gold Foil circle peeking through the doily!

The gold glitter for the flowers was inspired by the Gold Stampin’ Glitter included in this week’s Weekly Deals. So happy it was! Doesn’t it look fantastic?! An accent that could easily be used for other than a gold anniversary card.

The gold accents against the rich Blackberry Bliss didn’t stop there. A sweet little Gold 1/8″ Ribbon bow was tied around the calla lily stems. Happy Anniversary from the must-have Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set was embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and accented with a tiny Gold Foil heart made with the Confetti Hearts Border Punch.

The decorated Tea Lace Doily looked great in the middle of my 5″ x 5″ Blackberry Bliss card, but it really needed something more. Fully expected to use a strip of the script print from the 2014-2016 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack. But when I tried an 1/4″ strip of Gold Foil Sheet, we had a winner. It looks quite regal.
