The pretty Cottage Greetings Card Kit

Handmade greeting cards are quick and easy to make with the pretty Cottage Greetings Card Kit.

Even though I very much enjoy the process of designing and creating greeting cards, it was fun to make the 15 all occasion cards in such little time from the Cottage Greetings Card Kit.

While watching a movie with my husband this afternoon, the 15 cards were all made in just a little over an hour. And that was with looking up a lot to see what was happening in the action packed movie. You can just imagine how quick they would have been done if given my full attention.

It was great to have a card kit that so easily produced 15 very attractive handmade cards on a lazy Sunday afternoon. And that’s coming from a veteran card maker.

The card kit contents are pretty remarkable. It includes the supplies to make fifteen 5″ x 5″ all occasion greeting cards – 10 thin wood sheets, envelopes with silver foil envelope liners, pretty printed die-cuts, silver foil die-cuts, Basic Black Baker’s Twine, silver sequins in two sizes and small, self-adhesive candy dots and even pop-up dots. There is also a fantastic instruction sheet with large, color photos the cards and step-by-step directions to make five each of the three card designs. All for only $16 for 15 greeting cards!

All that is needed in addition to the Cottage Greetings Card Kit is a greeting stamp set, ink pad or pads, adhesive like Fast Fuse for the die-cuts and a liquid glue, such as the Fine Tip Glue Pen, for the sequins (all pictured lower in the post).

My handmade card greetings were stamped with the coordinating Cottage Greetings Stamp Set. The stamp set has both greetings and sentiments, as well as, coordinating flower stamps so you can stamp the envelopes to coordinate for attractive presentation. If purchasing the card kit for yourself or a paper crafter, I do recommend purchasing the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set too.

The Cottage Greetings Stamp Set is available in wood-mount or clear-mount. The clear-mount stamp set is less expensive because it doesn’t include any stamp blocks like the wood-mount version does. If you or who you’re purchasing the card kit and stamp set for do not have any acrylic blocks, the Clear Block H pictured below is large enough for each of the greetings and sentiments. It’s a little large for the small flower stamps but would work in a pinch.
