It’s a fun challenge to use a seasonal stamp set like
the Stampin’ Up! Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set for an everyday occasion. Before it was even delivered, I knew I wanted to use the mummy stamp for a get well soon card. A friend’s recent knee replacement surgery took my idea in a bit of a different direction for one quite adorable get well soon card.
As it turned out, only a small part of the mummy stamp was used with the gingerbread man from the Stampin’ Up! Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set to wrap his knee.
Seems like someone is having surgery every time we turn around. The Cookie Cutter Christmas and Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Sets are a great pair for happy healing cards.
My girlfriend came up with the “I recommend icing that”. I love puns! And so very true after knee surgery. I used the Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set to stamp my custom greeting.
How about that patterned paper? It looks like icing! It’s one of the 12 patterns in the limited-edition Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper. Use it for Christmas cards and get well soon cards.
The inside of the card was stamped with “Get Well Soon” from the must-have for virtually every occasion Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. The heart is from the Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set.
