Are one or more of your Stampin’ Write Marker tips not the fine point they used to be? For me, it has happened from someone thinking the high-quality markers are a Sharpie and not a fine coloring tool and pressed hard when using it. Read this Stampin’ Write Markers tip that just might save them from being thrown away.
When we could order individual markers, I would just order a replacement. Now we need to order a full-color collection, with few exceptions. There’s another option to ordering a full set or throwing it away. You can order replacement tips. Pull out the old tip and insert a new one.
The instructions read to wait 15 minutes for the ink to saturate the tip. I placed my tip facing down for 15 minutes. It wasn’t quite saturated. Looking at how only one side is mostly saturated, it had to be because I didn’t have the marker perfectly straight. After placing it straight down, it was completely saturated after 15 more minutes.
The only place I’ve found to order replacement tips is at www.tips4markers.blogspot.com. You get four replacement tips for $3.50 plus shipping.
