It’s fascinating how each version of my Stampin’ Up! Delicate Dahlias cards are beautiful on their own but seemingly better with each addition. The first card idea was with the solid flowers only. The detail and depth of shading provided with any of the DistINKtive stamps are always astounding. 

The second version has the addition of the outline dahlia stamps in the same color. The outline defined the petals.

Compare the first two versions side-by-side. Do you prefer the softness of the first card idea or the more defined look?

The focus has been, deservedly, on the flowers. But, the irregular shape die-cut behind them adds a very nice element of interest. The shape is from the new Layering Diorama Dies. You can see how they will work for much more than water as what seemed to be how they were used in samples from the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
