Pomegranates are associated with Christmas because they are in season and abundant then. The color is also ideal for the Christmas season. The lovely and exclusive Stampin’ Up! Perfect Pomegranate Stamp Set will allow you to create elegant handmade cards for Christmas time and more.

The pomegranate is stamped in Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin’ Pad ink and coordinates beautifully with Blushing Bride for the flower and card base. It was very easy to line up with the branch because it’s a photopolymer (clear rubber) stamp set.

Are you wondering how I got the two colors for the branches and leaves? I inked the entire stamp with Soft Suede Classic Pad ink followed up by coloring over top of the inked leaves with a Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker from the Regals Stampin’ Write Markers Collection.

The decorative die-cut for the pomegranate and greeting are both dies from the Seasonal Labels Dies. This is probably an easy-to-overlook set of dies because they are in the Christmas section of the 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Catalog. Regardless, it’s one of my most used because of its versatility, as you can see with my Stampin’ Up! Perfect Pomegranate card idea.

The embossed background felt right for the loveliness of this handmade card idea. It’s the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
