The autumn scenery, smell, and temperatures make it one of my favorite times of the year. The colors of the changing leaves are nothing short of breathtaking. All that is captured with my Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings card with the realistic maple leaf stamp.
The multicolor image was easy to get using Sponge Daubers with the Classic Stampin’ Pads. Load the sponge with ink and rub it onto the stamp, as seen here.
The stamped image is almost as breathtaking as the real thing. That’s because the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set is a DistINKtive stamp set. That is the patent-pending process Stampin’ Up! uses to make their stamp sets with remarkable depth and shading.
There are two things to point out for my Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings card. Did you notice the embossed leaves on the Sahara Sand Cardstock card base? It’s the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder I used for my Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest card you can see HERE.
The second item to point out is the decorative edge. It’s another of the dies from the Basic Borders Dies I used for my Stampin’ Up! Peace to You card you can see HERE.
You’ll be making realistic maple leaf cards, too, when you order the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set and supplies in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com!
