A friend asked me to make an appreciation card for his clients. So, not a Christmas card. The Stampin’ Up! Aspen Tree Dies came to the rescue for a very clean and simple winter card appropriate for a man to give.
The deer are from the Stampin’ Up! Grove Dies and the label die from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Shapes Dies. I rarely use three die sets on one card to keep my card ideas more economical. It is one of the perks of building up your supplies to pull from several stamp and/or die sets.
The white label on the white trees was getting lost. I softly applied Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Pad ink around the edge with Blending Brush. The “Little card, big thanks” greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set.
How about the blue sky and white, swirling snow background? It’s beautiful, but look again. Click on the picture to see a larger view. It’s stems and leaves from the limited-edition Fitting Florets 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper! All the supplies for my very clean and simple winter card are pictured below.
The Aspen Tree Dies are from the winter mini and part of the Perched in a Tree Bundle. The stamp set and dies will be available after the catalog retires, BUT the bundle discount savings will end! Order the bundle in my online store before the discount vanishes.
