Last week, I shared a Nested Friends card I made by copying one of the samples from the January-April 2023 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. Some of the card samples are so becoming they are a treat to make and show in case they were missed. This week, I’m sharing a Stampin’ Up! Lighting the Way card sample.

The steps are below. But I want to point out one first. The card base is one of the Enjoy The Adventure Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. It took a moment for me to realize the card base had been trimmed down to a typical 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ size.

The steps were quite easy to make the Stampin’ Up! Lighting the Way card sample.

1. Stamp the three stems and leaves images with Mint Macaron ink on Basic White Cardstock.
2. Use your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to die-cut the lantern from Basic Black Cardstock and the bees from So Saffron Cardstock. Use the coordinating bundle dies to die-cut the stamped images.
3. Use Blending Brushes to add Mint Macaron ink to the bottom of Basic White Cardstock. Position the lantern, without adhering, to determine where to use a Blending Brush to add So Saffron ink as pictured.
4. Place the bees where you like them, without adhesive, then stamp the medium circle with So Saffron ink. 
5. Adhere the Basic White cardstock to your card base and die-cuts. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the ribbon. 
6. Stamp the “Follow your Dreams” greeting with Tuxedo Black ink on a Fresh Freesia cardstock piece. Adhere with Mini Glue Dots.
