The bunch of grapes image from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched Stamp Set looks so realistic that you want to pick a grape and pop it into your mouth. The amazing detail is from the DistINKtive patent-pending process of producing rubber stamps for amazing depth and shading. So, which do you prefer, my handmade greeting card with one bunch of grapes (left) or two (below)?

The Basic Black Cardstock layer adds a twist to the usual 1/4″ larger layer. I used two pieces of cardstock. Here’s how they were arranged before being adhered to the back of the grapes for my Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched card.

Interestingly, I colored the grapes with Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends. The color is nearly as deep as the darker Gorgeous Grape Cardstock. That’s because the grapes were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and I layered Fresh Freesia alcohol marker ink in Light and Dark until I reached the desired color.

Two more items to note about my handmade card. The black and white patterned paper is from the Zoo Crew 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper I used on my Stampin’ Up! Zany Zoo card a few days ago. The opposite of each has a black-and-white pattern.

The second was a last-minute addition. I added three Loose Silver Sequins for a dew drop on the leaves and one on a grape.
