It appears that recently I’ve been featuring stamp sets that had been overlooked in the new 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up! Catalog. One was with a Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched Card. Well, it happened to me too. Despite being drawn to a sample on page 62, I had overlooked the Stampin’ Up! Lasting Joy Stamp Set until one of my sweet stampers called to order one for herself. My beautiful in blue Lasting Joy card is modeled after the gift bag sample I liked.

I believe I missed it because it was used with other samples for the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Inn Suite. It coordinates so well; it’s a natural fit. The flowers in the coordinating Countryside Blooms Embossing Folder are the same style.

The label die-cut was made with one of the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners Dies. It was much easier to stamp than may first appear. Start with the large flower in the opposite corners, then stamp the stems. There is a grouping of flowers that fill in the stems. Then stamp the single flower to fill in as pictured on my Stampin’ Up! Lasting Joy card.

The small strip of Countryside Inn 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper behind the label creates a contrast to make the focal point stand out beautifully.
