The new Stampin' Up! Sizzix Paper Doily is just beautiful.  Look how it nearly fills a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" handmade greeting card.

I stayed with the edges of the base of the card.  Elements of a greeting card hanging over the edge may look pretty, but not at all practical is you want to put your card in an envelope.  I don't know about you, but virtually all of my handmade cards are given or sent in an envelope.

The Paper Doily Sizzlit die-cut in Very Vanilla Card Stock looked like a doily you could easily find in my home.  But, it blended in with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper too much.  Wanting to use my Very Vanilla Card Stock doily, I solved that problem by adding some Soft Suede Card Stock behind it.   I attached it to the Soft Suede Card Stock with SNAIL Adhesive and then easily trimmed the edges with my Paper Snips.  If you saw yesterday's post, you have an idea of how much I love my Paper Snips (scissors).

The Paper Doily die-cut is large, but not too large for me to be able to show off the pretty Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.

You will not find the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper in the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.  It is a limited-edition product for the 2012 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration promotion.

What is the Sale-a-bration promotion?  From January 24 – March 31, 2012 only, for every $50 you purchase in Stampin' Up! products in my online store, you get your choice of any one of the 20 Sale-a-bration products for FREE!  Ten of the twenty products are exclusive to Sale-a-bration and will disappear forever.

My handmade greeting card is made with more FREE Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration products.  See the pretty coordinating butterfly brad in the center of the paper doily?   That is from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon/Brad pack, a Sale-a-bration exclusive.
