Celebrating the first day of Autumn with an Autumn Accents Bigz Die greeting card and the new Stampin' Up! Stampin' Spritzers.

A couple of days ago I shared a card I made with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die die-cut leaves stamped with the coordinating Wonderfall stamp set. View my other fall leaves card.

The die-cut leaves were used as a mask for the new Stampin' Spritzer to create this earthy background. The Stampin' Spritzer had a few drops of Tangerine Tango Classic Ink Refill added to water.

The leaves were also die-cut with the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog Autumn Accents Bigz Die, but the Holiday Catalog did not end there. The leaves are made with Early Espresso Core'dinations Card Stock that was embossed with the Stripes Embossing Folder and then sanded to reveal the color hiding beneath the surface.

The button is also from the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. It is a Brushed Bronze Designer Button. One-eight inch Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon fills the button holes. If you have been a blog reader of mine for any time, you know I don't like naked buttons. They just do not look natural to me.

I just loved every step of making this card. The background was quite appealing. It looked like an artsy notecard. Then the addition of the die-cut and distressed leaves with the bronze button turn it into a grand masculine card. Not that a woman would not love it also.
